Assess and plan
We examine the tooth and discuss whether root canal treatment is suitable, along with any alternatives.

Clean the canals
With local anaesthetic, the affected pulp is removed and the canals are cleaned and shaped. A temporary filling may be used between visits.

Fill and restore
The canals are filled and sealed. Depending on the tooth, a crown may be recommended to help protect it.
