Porcelain veneers can be used to improve the appearance of your teeth with dramatic effect. Whether you have gaps, crooked teeth, discoloured teeth or worn and chipped teeth porcelain veneers can be the solution to a stunning smile.

Veneers are ultra fine facings of porcelain, hand crafted to cover the front surfaces of teeth. They can help to fix multiple problems of the teeth, for example gaps between teeth, minor spacing, rotated teeth, broken or damaged biting surfaces, decalcification or demineralization spots, undersized teeth, uneven teeth and even gummy smiles. They can improve the colour, shape and position of your teeth. A precise shade of porcelain closer to your original teeth can be chosen to give the right colour to improve a single discoloured or stained tooth or to lighten front teeth (usually the upper ones) generally. A veneer can make a cracked tooth look intact again. The porcelain covers the whole of the front of the tooth with a thicker section replacing the broken part. If one tooth is misaligned, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to bring it into line with the others. Veneers can also be the perfect treatment for replacing tooth enamel that has been ravaged by acid erosion.

Before any Veneer procedure, your teeth must first be assessed as to their suitability for treatment by one of our Dental Specialists in Cosmetic Dentistry.
The process of veneers addition includes the following steps:

Trimming. The dentist first removes a very small layer of the tooth's outer enamel.

Impression. Once the proper amount of enamel has been trimmed, our dentist will need to make a copy of your tooth.

Bonding. Once you and your dentist have determined that the shape and shade of your veneer is appropriate it can be bonded into place. The dentist applies the veneer to the tooth using a bonding material. Our dentists will assess your bite and general appearance of the fixed veneers to check if the application of veneers is perfect. Trimming and bonding can be improved until the patients and the dentist are satisfied.
